Halloween Frog's Pumpkin Cake

Mix:
1 c. cooked pumpkin, mashed
½ c. oil
2 eggs
½ c. sugar
1 t. almond extract
1 T. cinamon
½ c. ground walnuts
1½ c. whole wheat flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. baking powder

Bake in a greased pan for 30 min. at 350 F or 200 C. Draw the animal or pumpkin of your choice on top.

Cook Skvat Cat's Scarey Pumpkin Muffins

Mix:
1 c. cooked pumpkin (Here Skvat Cat used cooked Hokaido squash)
1/4 c. oil
2 eggs
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. mixed sesame seeds and poppy seéds
2 t. cinamon
1/4 c. sugar
1 2/3 c. whole wheat flour
1 t. baking powder
½ t. baking soda

Put into greased muffin tin and make face with jumbo and regular raisins. Bake about 30 min. at 350 F or 200 C.

Fat Cat's Mystery Cake

Mix:
½ c. ground almonds
1½ c. whole wheat flour
½ c. sugar
1 t. baking soda
1/4 c. unsweetened dark cocoa powder
One Mystery Ingredient that Fat Cat will reveal November first!!!
Add:
½ c. oil
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
Mix well and bake in greased pan for 30 min at 350 F or 200 C

Communication Monkey's Munchy Cake

Mix.
2 bananas, mashed
½ c. buttermilk
½ c. oil
1 egg plus 1 egg white
Add:
½ c. sugar
3/4 c. ground walnuts
½ c. coconut
½ c. dried cranberries
                                                       1 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
                                                       Bake in greased pan for 30 min at 350 F or 200 C
                                                       Draw a monkey of your choice on top.

Tjua's Mexican Turkey Dinner

Boil:
2 c. water
1 t. salt
1 t. paprika
1 t. chili
Add: 2/3 c. brown parboiled rice and cook 25-30 min
Cut up 1 lb. turkey breast into squares and dip in olive oil, then breadcrumbs and fry in olive oil until crispy and cooked.
Sauté:
2 onions, chopped
                                                       2 stalks celery chopped
                                                      When they are almost done, add 1 large carrot, grated
                                                       1 c. canned corn and sauté a little. Then add turkey and cooked rice.
                                                      Top with roasted almonds and serve.

Tjua says: Great turkey dish. If you like very spicey food, add an extra ½ t. chili! ****

Bitzer the Cookie

Mash
1 c. mixed frozen berries that have thawed
Add
grated orange rind (use organic orange and grate the peel of 1½ oranges)
1 egg
½ c. sugar
½ c. oil
½ c. ground walnuts
1½ c. whole wheat flour
1 t. baking powder

Shape as Bitzer or the animal of your choice.
Bake 20- 25 min. at 350 F  or 200 C

Spider's Halloween Sticky Dish

Boil 200 g. whole grain penne
Make curry sauce:
Heat 2 T oil, add 4 t. curry and then 3 T. flour. Take off heat and add slowly: about ½ liter chicken bouillion (msg free)
Mix in separate bowl for meatloaf:
1 egg
1 t. salt
1 heaping t. pabrika
pepper
2 cloves garlic, grated
                                                            1 little onion, grated
                                                            360 g. low fat ground beef
                                                            1 c. canned corn, drained

Put the cooked penne and sauce in a pot. Save some sauce for the top of the meatloaf. Shape meatloaf like spider. Give him hazlenut eyes. Put sauce on top. Bake 35 minutes at 350 F or 200 C.

Psyduck's Cake

Mix:
½ c. ground walnuts
1½ c. whole wheat flour
½ c. sugar
1 t. baking soda
Add:
1 cup pineapple juice (unsweetened)
3 pineapple rings, diced
½ c. oil
1 egg

Bake in greased pan 30 min at 350 F or 200 C. Cool a little and draw Psyduck with icing. (confectioners sugar and hot water)

Pokeball Muffins

Mix:
1 c. strawberries, mashed
½ c. buttermilk
4 T. oil
1 egg
Add:
1/4 c. sugar
½ c. ground almonds
1½ c. whole wheat flour
1 t. baking soda

Put in greased muffin tin. Sprinkle sesame seeds on ½ of each muffin. Place jumbo raisin in the center.
Bake 25 min. at 350 F or 200 C.

Aqua the Fish's Fishy Dishy

Boil:
½ lb. whole grain noodles in salted water
Drain and put back in cooking pan. Add 1 T. olive oil and 4 t. curry
Fry:
5 fish filets breaded with lemon and parsley (fresh or frozen). Cut into bite size pieces
Sauté in olive oil:
2 large carrots, sliced as half circles
Add l large leek, washed and diced and 4 cloves of garlic, grated
Add 1 bell pepper, diced
Add 1½ c. frozen peas
Add fish and curried noodles. Mix well and serve

Aqua the fish says: Don't use small fish, and you will have an easy and yummy dish! ****

Uggie's Magic Wok Dish

1 onion, diced
3 cloves of garlic finely grated
2 stalks of celery, diced
3 bell peppers (red, yellow, green), diced
5 leaves of chinese cabbage diced
sliced fresh mushrooms
one package fresh bean sprouts
one pound fresh chicken breast, diced
1 can pineapple in own juice, drain and save juice and cut pineapple rings in pieces
                                                       10 large tiger shrimp
                                                       1/3 pound roasted cashews
                                                       ½ lb. dry chinese noodles (egg noodles, rice noodles, udon or soba)
Boil noodles
Heat 4 T. oil in wok.
Fry diced chicken
Add onions and garlic and 1 t. ginger and sauté
Add celery and fry a little
Add peppers and fry a little
Add chinese cabbage and fry shortly
Add bean sprouts and fry shortly
Add mushrooms and fry shortly
Add shrimp and fry shortly
Add cashews and pineapple
Add 10 T. soy sauce
Add 4 T. pineapple juice
Add noodles
Mix well and enjoy. This is a very large dish for 6 people.

Froggy's World Famous Chili

Chili Sauce:
Sauté in olive oil:
2 onions, diced
3 cloves of garlic, finely grated
1 pound of ground beef
Add:
2 large jars of tomato puree
some water
2 t. salt
1 t. oregano
                                                       fresh basil
                                                       3 carrots, grated
                                                       3 t. chili
                                                       1 t. paprika
                                                       Cook until thick at least 40 min.
Boil rice, chop fresh peppers and lettuce, heat tortillas or tacos and serve.

First Class Chicken Spice Burger

Mix:
1 t. salt
1 t. garlic powder
1 ½ turmeric
1 t. curry
1½ t. pabrika
1 t. chili
Add
1 egg and mix again
Add
450 g. ground chicken
Fry in olive oil- Fat Cat's tip: put oil on your spoon to shape the burgers. These can be thick or thin. I make them thin so they fry fast.

Ted-e-bear's Muffins

Mix:
½ c. ground walnuts
½ c. dark, unsweetened cacao powder
1/4 c. sugar
1½ c. whole wheat flour
1 t. baking soda
Add:
1/4 c. oil
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg
Mix well
Put in greased muffin tin. Make face with jumbo raisins. Sprinkle with coconut flakes and bake for 20-25 min. at 200 C or 350 F.

Skvat Cat's Spiceynada

Dough
Mix:
2 c. lukewarm water
1 t. yeast
1 t. chili
1 t. garlic powder
½ t. oregano
whole wheat flour to make a porridge consistency
let stand one hour
Then add 2 T. olive oil and 2 t. salt and spelt flour to make a dough

Filling
Cut up 350 g. lamb and marinate  30 minutes or longer in:
olive oil
grated fresh garlic
1½ t. curry
1 t. paprika
1 t. oregano
Cook 2/3 c. rice with wild rice in
1 c. water
1 t. salt
2 t. chili
1 t. paprika
Dice and sauté in olive oil
1 red pepper
1 yellow pepper
then add:
1 bowl fresh or frozen peas
1 bunch of fresh chives cut small
Fry marinated lamb in a separate frying pan in olive oil. Drain fat, and move meat to vegetables. Add cooked rice.
Knead dough and cut in pieces and roll in desired shape.(here: chili shaped). Add filling and fold and pinch closed. Put on greased baking sheet. Bake 30 min. 200 C or 350 F.

Sheep Cookie

Mix:
1 c. blackberries mashed
½ c. oil
1 egg
½ c. sugar
Add
3/4 c. coconut flakes
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 t. vanilla sugar
1 t. baking powder
Drop on greased cookie sheet with spoon.
Bake about 18 min. at 200 C or 350 F.

Sheep says: If you like coconut, you want to try my cookie ****

Disco Fish Muffins

Mix:
1 egg
1 c. freshly squeezed orange juice
4 T. oil
Add:
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. sesame seeds
½ c. ground hazlenuts
1½ c. whole wheat flour
Mix well and fold in 1 c. blueberries
Make fish face with one big chocolate chip for mouth and raisin eyes. Sprinkle with poppy seeds.
Bake in greased muffin tin for about 20 min. at 350 F or 200 C.

Sunday Pig Pancakes


Mix well:
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 T. oil
a little salt
Add:
½ c. uncooked oatmeal flakes
½ c. whole wheat flour
1 t. baking soda

Adjust thickness with more buttermilk as necessary. Shape as pigs and fry.

Green Fish's Raspberry Cupcakes


Mix:
1½ c. whole wheat flour
½ c. sugar
1 t. baking soda
½ c. ground walnuts
Add:
1 c. freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ c. oil
1 egg
Mix well and fold in 1 c. raspberries

Put in greased cupcake form and put two jumbo raisins in each one for eyes. Bake at 200 C or 350 F for ca. 25 min.
Draw a fish mouth with icing (confectioners sugar + water)
